Beginner to Advanced Guitar and Electric Bass

David Gibler began studying guitar with his Uncle Richard in 1971 and has been teaching guitar professionally since 1982. In 1980, he entered William Patterson State in Wayne NJ to study Music.

In 1983, David enrolled in GIT (Guitar Institute of Technology), in Hollywood California studying with some of the world"s most talented players and instructors in advanced Sight-Reading, Jazz Theory, Improvisation, Technique, Classical, Fusion to name just a few of the styles and methods studied.

Much time was dedicated to Improvising, Technique and Fusion. After, graduation in 1984, David moved back to New Jersey and played with a variety of original rock, metal and fusion bands in New York while building a steady following for instruction.

In 1996, David moved to Prince Edward Island where he was hired as Music Director for Theatre PEI"s production of "Idyll Gossip". In 1997 he began teaching at Charlottetown"s National Music.

In 1998 David auditioned for Feast Dinner Theatre and was brought on for 2 years of zany, madcap shenanigans performing in "Rosie"s Country Roadhouse", "Do not open "Till Christmas" and "Staying" Alive."

The summer of 1999 David was hired as Assistant Music Director for four separate Feast Dinner Theatre productions playing 4 locations in the Maritimes. Since 1996, David has developed a client load teaching all styles and skills to all ages on PEI.

David has played with a variety of local musicians and bands on Prince Edward Island including 80"s band Arcade, Bid Tilda, Mike Ross"s Solstice and more.

David is taking all the knowledge he has gained over the years to offer an experienced, dedicated musical learning experience to all ages who want to go to any level on the guitar and electric bass.
