Connor Doucette - Beginner Fiddle and Violin
Connor Doucette is 16 years old and hails from Johnston’s River. Connor started playing the fiddle at 9 years old at Donagh Regional School went on to private lessons with Kendra MacGillvary for several years. Before moving to Stratford Music Academy under the direction of Allison Ling, Stonepark Intermediate School saw Connor leap into strings classes for three years and he has preformed in many concerts. Now a Grade 11 student he still loves to play and has now started teaching beginner fiddle and violin for SMA. Fiddle/Violin is not my only musical interest; I am currently studying guitar and have tried my hand at playing the tin whistle. Some more of my interests include story writing, playing dodge ball, and laughing and having fun with my friends. I’m looking forward to teaching people how to play these wonderful instruments.
